Great recipe my mom got at her office! It's an easy way to get the delicious taste of a buckeye with a little less work. I usually keep these in the fridge to keep them from getting too soft or melted.

  1. Melt the first two ingredients in microwave.
  2. Add the sugar and mix.
  3. Pat into 9 x 13" pan.
  4. Melt chocolate and 1/2 cup peanut butter together.
  5. Place over bottom layer.
  6. Refrigerate and cut into squares.

These are just SINFUL and FABULOUS. Instead of the chocolate bar, I just used a 11.5 oz bag of Ghiradelli Milk Chocolate Chips. I used chunky peanut butter in the bottom and then creamy in the top. I took Katzen's suggestion and topped them off with Reese's Pieces (made them very Fall-ish looking for the hayride that I am going to take them to).

How delicious are these!?!?!?! And easy, too! I'm just sorry that I didn't take picture before I sent them to the get-together. I found that the second layer wasn't as dark as was in the photos, so I added an additional 8oz of dark chocolate (there can never be too much chocolate chocolate, right?) and then sprinkled reeces pieces on top to indicate peanuts n the dish. I refrigerated these babies until serviing time and will most definately make them again! Yummy, yummy, yummy, BK!! This is a real winner! Thanks for sharing!

We really enjoyed the flavor of these little treats. Unfortunately, I had a really difficult time getting them out of the pan. I will make again. They were quick and easy to make with ingredients that I always have on hand. These taste similar to the buckeyes I use to make for my son when he was a little boy. Thanks for sharing. Made for May Pool Party/10 :)
