Different from the others and so easy. From "A Class Act," Millburn High School cookbook. This is like putting a dip inside a tomato and broiling it until it bubbles! I would bake and then broil the top but I put in the recipe as written.
- 6 tomatoes
- 1⁄2 cup sour cream
- 1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄4 cup parmesan cheese
- 4 tablespoons onions, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
- 1 lemon, juice of
- 1 teaspoon dill
- 1 teaspoon cilantro
- Cut the tomatoes crosswise and cut out the core.
- Mix the rest of the ingredients in a small bowl and spoon onto each tomato. Place on a broiler pan.
- Broil slowly until bubbly. Remove with spatula and serve.
