Bubble Tea Sugar Syrup

"This is the liquid sweetner used in all Bubble tea drinks. It is used both to cover the tapioca pearl and sweeten the drink. You can use all white sugar for fruit flavored drinks and green tea base drinks. It can be easily made diabetic but substituting Splenda for the sugar in the recipe. This is how I make it but not everyone is okay with Splenda. This recipe has been borrowed from www.ellenskitchen.com/recipebox/bubblet.html"

  1. I used this syrup for shaved ice with condensed milk and rice cakes and fruit, and it was amazing. I decreased the amount using the same ratio and it was perfect. Thanks for the recipe!

  2. Thank you for posting exact measurements. Every other recipe listed the ingredients as "parts" and each one was different. Thanks, I'm going to make Chai Bubble Tea now.

Hi I'm Megan I live in Pennsylvania. I'm a pretty young cook. I started in 7th grade and I have gotten so much better in the last few years. I work on weekends as a hostess and bussing tables. I love learning languages, especially italian, arabic, hindi, and spanish. I have so many cookbooks it's hard to choose. I love my Ultimate Muffin Cookbook as well as my King Arthur Wholegrain baking cookbook. I have a bunch of Indian, british, italian, chinese, japanese, middle eastern cookbooks as well. They are all cool. I love different cultures and I love middle eastern dance. Those are my true passions. But I am involved in a community service club at my school and I love helping others.
