So I used oil and butter and threw in a clove of garlic at the end of the cooking time for a little extra garlicy goodness and it turned out great. Simple and yummy! Garlic and cheese and veggie you just can't go wrong. Thanks for sharing

I actually liked these quite a bit. Other than adding some salt & pepper at the table I followed the recipe exactly. The garlic taste was a nice change for sprouts. Thank you for sharing your recipe! Made for Spring '09 Pick A Chef.

These were good and easy to make. I followed the recipe as written other then I used a lot more then I dash of parmesan. I think next time I would use half butter and half olive oil for more "flavor".

A nice, simple way to enjoy those yummy brussels sprouts! I had 1 lb of tiny sprouts, so I left them whole. Since I had 1 lb, I doubled the recipe, and used half olive oil and half unsalted butter. I did sprinkle with the optional parmesan cheese..... it was like icing on the cake! Thanx for sharing!

These were great. I used the baby brussels sprouts and the kids loved them! I cooked them until they all had at least one browned part and were pretty tender. A definite hit for a picky family.

It was ok...time would be good rather than 'til light green'. Didn't ge tthe garlic infused flavor. It was ok.

My DD loves brussel sprouts so I grew a few plants this year and she got to cook them and chose your recipe. We all enjoyed them very much.

While brussels sprouts are difficult to avoid the tried and true boil them until they're mushy recipe that mimics a canned veggie version . .. this recipe is quite tasty. You can keep them as cruncy as you like. AND, it's hard not to say that garlic and/or cheese make anything taste better!

I love brussel sprouts most any way they are prepared but this way is special. It is totally yummy. My youngest who was helping in the kitchen couldn't keep her fingers off them. It's a good thing the rest of dinner was just about ready when I finished them up or I might not have had any to put on the table. LOL We really like them and did use some grated parmesan cheese on top just as they were going to the table. Thanks so much for a yummy new way to enjoy brussel sprouts
