- 1⁄2 cup dark unsweetened cocoa
- 1⁄2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 3 egg whites
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules (optional)
- 1⁄2 cup whole wheat pastry flour
- Mix all dry ingredients then add applesauce and egg whites ad fold into dry mixture. Put in 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minute.
