Wonderful! I am a chocolate lover and these are great. My mom used to make these and they were one of our favorites.
- boil all frosting ingredients except butter for 1-2 minutes and then add butter.
- Mix ingredients together.
- bake@ 350 for 30 minutes.
- use a 9x12 pan or a cookie sheet with sides.
A friend gave me this recipe without the frosting. I tried it today and found it (without the frosting) to be a good chocolatey brownie. However, it isn't overly rich or fudgy. Perhaps the frosting would make it richer, but I don't care for frosted brownies. It is lighter than some other brownies I have tried, also. It makes a good snack.
