This was always a favorite at school bake sales when I was young.

Directions

  1. Combine sugar with melted margarine. Cream well (no mixer needed).
  2. Add eggs and mix well. Stir in flour and cocoa. Add vanilla.
  3. Grease and flour (or spray) a 9 inch round or square cake pan.
  4. Bake approximately 20 minutes @ 350. Best not to over bake them, they shouldn't be dry.

a light cakey brownie. I topped it with crushed heath bar. Also, baked at 350 for about 25 mminutes
