Just made this yesterday, brought to bbq, it was AMAZING. It was gone so fast. People were coming back for seconds before others even got their first portion. Definitely a keeper. Simple ingredients that just work well together, thanks for this recipe!

I was really excited about making this but overall the taste was just good not great. I took it to a party and did not get any compliments. I will not be making this again.

Awesome recipe! The flavors tasted great together. I used a dark chocolate ice cream sauce in between the layers. Really easy and tasty.

Well I would love to say I actually tasted this recipe but by the time I was able to eat dessert at our Memorial Day cookout the whole thing was gone. My husband & I both did not get any of it so he asked me to make one for home soon. Everyone loved it and kept asking for the recipe. I used low fat brownie mix by betty crocker and it turned out great. Can't wait to taste it myself! ;) Thanks!

This was great! I made a half recipe for a small dinner party and used Hot Fudge sauce instead of the Magic Shell. I also swapped the amount of oil(1/4 c) and water (1/2 c) to make a lighter and drier brownie which held up better with the sauces - and saved some calories to boot. It was wonderful - rich and delicious.

This was yummy. I broke the brownies up into large pieces. I also added an extra half of the pudding/cool whip combo. Everyone loved it at the BBQ I had.

I used a tub of the cheesecake filling instead of vanilla pudding to cut down on preparation time, but otherwise followed the directions. It was demolished in about 10 minutes with everyone licking their spoons!

GREAT TASTE ~ GREAT PRESENTATION, & a definite keeper of a recipe! I made my usual triple-chocolate brownie mix for this then followed the directions for a wonderful treat! Had to share with friends & neighbors to help me finish it off! Definitely something to make for a group, not a couple! Thanks for sharing the recipe! To add a different texture, I baked chocolate chips into the brownies and sprinkled the top with chocolate sprinklers! Everyone fell in love with it and wanted to know when I was going to make it again!!

Made today for Teacher Appreciation Day and I have had many complements and requests for the recipe. I haven't had any yet so I better get down there before it's all gone. Thanks, I'm sure I will make again.

AMAZING!! i made this for my guests n they LOVED it, n i really enjoyed it myself too. I made a couple of changes, i dind't use the chocolate syrup at all. I used crumbled brownie pieces for garnish instead of the syrup, yummmmmmm. Also, I diidn't use vanilla flavored pudding, instead, i tried BANANA flavored, and trust me.. it made a whole different tasts, and it was just soooo good. I'll definitely be making this again(with banana flavored pudding). Thanx for a great recipe!!!

This is a delicious dessert, and almost too beautiful to eat! I made this for my Bible study group, and had a lot of compliments. The only change I made was to add 4 oz. of softened low fat cream cheese to the pudding mixture. Really turned out great! Thanks RecipeNut! Hazeleyes

IMPRESSIVE - What a fantastic recipe and good looking presentation. I don't use my large compote often but with this recipe, I'll keep the compote on a lower pantry shelf. Thanks for sharing!

This had a very nice presentation. I made it for a church pot luck, and it was gone even before I made it through the line...so I never got to try some myself. I got lots of compliments, though one person said that while this was very good, this was her least favorite trifle I've made. I don't know if I'd make this one again. I did use fat-free pudding and fat-free Cool Whip just because that's what I had. I also used chocolate fudge topping instead of the magic shell.

Yummy! This was very easy to put together and so tasty! I used One Bowl Brownies for the brownies. I forgot to pick up the shell syrup, but we didn't miss it. Since the trifle didn't look as pretty on the top as the picture posted without it, I piped some melted chocolate into a heart shape and added them to the top. It was a hit at the Valentine party I took it to. Thanks for posting, RecipeNut!

Wow! I've been drooling over this photo for a while and I just had to try it. I used To Die for Brownies for the brownies, fresh strawberries, Best Choice French Vanilla pudding, and Best Choice non-dairy whipped topping. I also didn't have a clear bowl, so I layered this into individual bowls, one of each other layers (except the choc shell... I didn't once over the strawberries and once over the pudding/whipped cream mix) This was so yummy! I love the burst of tartness from the strawberries. The texture of the pudding and whipped topping went very well with fruit and crumbled brownie. The shell hadn't set up hard but was just firm. The whole thing was very much a delight. I made a whole recipe which was likely a mistake my waistline will grow to regret, but DH liked it enough that this may not be too much of a problem. Thank you for the keeper recipe!
