Awesome brownie frosting recipe. Super quick and easy. The only thing I would like to suggest is that, you pour the frosting over the brownies as soon as it cools down a bit, but is still just a tad warm, for it will become thick, but if that happens, just heat up for about 3 seconds. I will use this recipe over and over again. Thanks for the recipe.

This was very grainy..not smooth at all. Also the flavor was lacking. Just more of a sugary-sweet than a chocolately flavor. It set up very similar to those no-bake oatmeal cookies, which makes sense given the ingredients are pretty much the same (minus the oatmeal of corse). I will not be using this recipe again.

I was quite impressed with this. I used this with Foolproof, One Bowl Banana Cake. I chose this for the ease since I was making a simple cake, thought it would only be fitting to do a simple and less time consuming recipe for the frosting. I am so glad I did. The taste kind of reminded me of the frosting on a hostess cupcake. Thanks for sharing.

I went to my pantry, found no powdered sugar and thought I would have to suffer the awful fate of eating my brownies unfrosted. This recipe came to the rescue. Followed directions exactly with no issues. Simple, fast and perfect.

So easy! I subbed Splenda SugarBlend for the sugar, and ended up simmering for a few minutes longer after step 4. Mine turned out more thin, like a glaze, because of my sugar sub. But it was great over 1 Pan Fudge Cake! Definitely will make again.

I made this to pour over a chocolate zucchini cake and it was perfect. Very good! I will definitely try on brownies next time.

This frosting was easy and delicious. I used it on the Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake (#56379) and used Hershey's "Special Dark" cocoa in both. Yummmm! I may have to go get another piece right now. Thanks so much for posting! :)
