This is a most awesome syrup for drizzling on sweet buns, pancakes, ice cream, crepes, you name it! Between the buttery brown sugar goodness, the lick of madagascar vanilla paste, and kiss of cinnamon, this is truely delicious!

Very good! Thick, rich and sweet. Used vanilla extract and added after I took the mixture off the stove. Used pecans and served with recipe #349437. Delicious as is, though for pancakes, I'd probably double the recipe, and use only 1/2 cup pecans. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  1. Simmer (at low boil) together butter, water, brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins for 1 minute. Stir in vanila bean paste.
