Brown Sugar Honey Baked Ham

This is the only way I make my ham for New Years and Easter.

I made this for Easter dinner with my sister and her family. Everyone said it was the best ham they have ever had. I did mine overnight in a large electric roaster. The meat was tender and the brown sugar and honey made the meat succulent. Thanks for sharing!

  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Rinse ham and place in large baking pan.
  3. Pour honey over ham. Using your hands, pack the brown sugar evenly over the ham, pressing firmly so that the sugar will stick.
  4. Cover and place in oven. Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on size of ham. (Since it is fully cooked, all you are doing is warming it up.) Baste with juices.
