Another recipe from yesteryear! This recipe dates back to the 1930's. Recipes back then were very simple, with little instruction on how to prepare! You will love this!
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon light Karo syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Combine ingredients. Boil to softball stage, remove from heat. Add 1 tablespoons butter, 1 teaspoons vanilla, and beat till smooth. Spread over your prepared cake.
