    Someone gave me this recipe at one of my bridal showers. My husband likes this served with vanilla ice cream.

    Ingredients:

    Directions:

      Combine all ingredients except butter.

      Mix lightly.

      Turn into greased one quart baking dish.

      Dot with butter.

      Bake at 325F until knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 45-50 minutes.

      I like the flavor of this but mine turned out a little soggy. I did double the recipe so maybe that has something to do with it. When I took it out after almost two hours of baking it passed the knife test but it still seemed too wet. Sorry.

      This was super easy to make and so very tasty. I was feeling ambitious one morning and made it to take to work w/me. I shared it with my co-workers and got rave reviews. I love brown sugar and this was delicious. This recipe is perfect for a chilly day. The only thing I left out was the walnuts because I don't like them.
