  • Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Mix well.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and cover.
  • Simmer for 45-50 minutes or until rice is tender.
  • Stir, remove from heat, covered and allow to stand for 5 minutes.

  1. This has gone into my favorites. So flavorful and easy to make. Also tried it with beef broth & added 2 tsp of minced garlic. Very good!! (It needed a lot more water. I have to use 2 and 3/4 cups of water in the rice cooker-I'm at 5,000 ft)
