A great healthy and quick way to enjoy seasoned brown rice.

A great savory rice. I used olive oil and regular rice but otherwise followed the recipe with the appropriate timing. The sliced almonds are a tasty addition to brown rice.

  1. Cook and stir onion in hot margarine until tender.
  2. Add broth, lemon juice and garlic powder.
  3. Bring to boil.
  4. Stir in rice.
  5. Return to boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat.
  8. Stir in green beans, almonds and dill; cover.
  9. Let stand 5 minutes.
