Seems like all the rices take different amounts of water/rice, so I have made a recipe collection, in a cookbook called Book #225775. This way, I don't get so confused!


  1. Bring water, salt, and butter to a boil.
  2. Stir in rice with a fork.
  3. Bring back to a boil, then cut heat to simmer, to prevent "boiling over". (Do not be tempted to remove lid -- this can cause gummy rice.).
  4. Cover and cook for 45 minutes.
