Makes you really mooove! From Cooking Light Cookbook, 1989. I haven't tried this yet but I wanted to post it here for another day.
- 1 cup skim milk
- 1⁄2 cup unsweetened orange juice
- 8 dried prunes, pitted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 ice cubes
- Combine first 4 ingredients in a blender. Cover and process until smooth.
- Gradually add ice cubes, and process until smooth.
- Serve immediately.
I mis-read the recipe and bought dates instead of prunes. The orange juice (freshly squeezed) added a nice taste. I will try this again! Roxygirl
