Amazing! Loved it! We made mushroom onion sandwiches with this recipe, using the extra juice to dip the sandwiches in.

I'm stunned at how delicious these are. STUNNED, I tell ya! I mean, it's not like I expected anything *bad*, but I didn't expect anything *this* amazing. I upped the garlic to 2 minced cloves - Perfect! Also used a Pyrex dish covered with foil in the oven and baked it for 17 minutes. We ate it plain. That's right, not on a steak or over rice or anything else because I wanted to experience it very simply before using it elsewhere. This is going to be fantastic heaped up on a sirloin steak. I might just make it tomorrow to have these again. (Oh, who am I kidding... I'll be raiding the fridge later tonight!) What a lovely recipe; outstanding flavors. Thank you for posting, GrillGirlie!
