My 16 year old daughter exclaimed "This is the best sandwich I've ever eaten in my life, thank you Mama" as she closed her eyes in bliss and ate another bite. Another great recipe from you Kittencal! I'm thinking of ways to make this sandwich again: -roast beef with asiago & creamy horseradish -smoked turkey & chipotle mayonnaise -thinly sliced ham & swiss Thank you!

I finished up the remains of a roast with making this marvelous sandwich. I was *very* stingy on the mayo (I normally never use it it all) for mine and used brown mustard. I pre-warmed the meat a bit to remove the chill from the fridge. Love the garlic powder here and that is what really makes this so good. I was lucky enough to have lovely ripe tomato's to use here. What a great winter lunch!
