Like the others, I definitely have to say this brings back childhood memories. Of course I had to cut my toast into "sticks:. Simple ingredients=simple pleasures! Made for I Recommend Tag-Feb '10.

This is it!! My mom always made this for me as a child and I could never remember quite how to make it. After trying many other recipes with no luck, I found this and it's perfect! Admittedly I did use a bit more butter, I just can't help myself (it's heaven with challah bread too)! Thank you so much chef-V!

This tastes like a cross between toast and a cinnamon roll. Makes a great breakfast to grab while you are running out the door. Loved it!

I don't remember how/why I came across this recipe a few weeks ago... just browsing through the Zaar or something. But it sounded so good. DD and I both loved it. Now I've made it several times, in fact just made it again right now. Haven't made cinnamon toast in the toaster since we found this one. It tastes so much better than just spreading the butter over warm toast and sprinkling the cinn & sugar on (which is how I have always made it and how my mom made it). Thanks for a great idea!

I made this for a wonderful, nostalgic, and heavenly delicious, dessert ~ (Made for our last leg of visiting beautiful France, *ZWT3 07* ) coupled with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. My family tends towards the more sugar/less cinnamon way of fixing this, either way, just a wonderful recipe, that is brimming with melted butter, (we used *Earth Balance* spread as we had my son, a vegan over). Thank you~Chef ~V!

I made this for *Zaar World Tour III* - I made these for breakfast today. I had everything on hand and they were very simple to make. I'm not normally a sweet tooth person so I added less sugar. The cinnamon really spiced up my morning. Thank you Chef ~Vseward

This is soooo good! I used to just make regular cinnamon toast, but broiling it all is so much better. Made for ZWT3. Thanks for posting!

Very good! I used wheat bread because that's what I usually have on hand. It worked out really well and my kids loved it, too. Thanks for sharing!
