this was very good although I did the directions a little different that stated I sauteed the diced tomato with garlic, oregano and chili flakes in some olive oil, then added in the steamed broccoli, tortellini and green onions at the end of cooking, we enjoyed this thanks Dreamer!
good recipe. i made this a little differently. I used a sliced red onion which I fried with the garlic in a little olive oil before adding the tomatoes. I added a teaspoon of sugar to offset the acidity of the tomatoes, a teaspoon of mixed herbs, and a vegetable stock cube in the sauce instead of salt and pepper. then I mixed everything together and topped with the grated cheese before grilling it till the top was browned and crispy. I only used 7oz of tortellini and halved the amount of tomatoes and kept the rest of the ingredients as per recipe. we had 2very generous servings.
Good - easy and quick! My kids picked out the tortellini (there's no foolin' them!), but we all enjoyed it. Only thing I did was substitute Italian Seasoning for the oregano. Thanks for the recipe!
Cheese tortellini is pretty much a staple in our house, & finding this new way to serve it is most appreciated! The only change I made was to substitute lemon pepper for the usual S&P! Thanks for sharing a very nice keeper! [Made & reviewed in Gimme 5 tag]
This was a nice change from regular spaghetti sauce over tortellini. I actually used 1/2 the tortellini, but a full recipe otherwise and enjoyed the extra veggies. Otherwise didn't change anything! Made for Photo Tag.
Such an easy and tasty recipe and a great accompaniment to Marinated Baked Chicken Breasts with which we enjoyed it. I added some rosemary and sage (just because they are favourite herbs) to the oregano and would happily serve this as a stand-alone dish with a salad as Dreamer suggests. Thank you for another yummy recipe, Dreamer. We'll certainly be enjoying this again. Made for 1-2-3 Hit Wonders.
This was excellent! Very simple dish that came together quite nicely. I did not change a thing. It had just enough garlic for us. The green onion was a great addition too. I will make this again! Made and Reviewed for Zaar Tag - Thanks! :)
