A yummy Japanese way of cooking one of my favorite vegetables. From Bento Boxes: Japanese Food To Go by Naomi Kijima, so a single serving as written.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil (if you are making a family sized portion of this recipe, this will take a while). Blanch the broccoli for a minute or two in boiling water.
- Cut the ham into bite sized pieces. Saute with the broccoli in the oil over medium high heat. Add soy sauce.
I didn't have ham so didn't use it. Other than that everything is the same and it was good! My son loved it.
