This salad is very easy to make, looks good and tastes absolutely great. It's one recipe that is always requested. I got this recipe from my sister-in-law. It is a very nice side dish.
- 2 cups chopped broccoli
- 1 cup red seedless grapes, halved
- 1⁄2 cup diced celery
- 1⁄2 cup chopped pecans
- 2 bananas, sliced add just before serving
- 3⁄4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1⁄8 cup sugar
- You can chop your vegetables early (except the bananas).
- Mix dressing and pour over the vegetables just before serving.
If you are concerned about fat you can substitute fat free Vanilla yogurt
Inspired combination! Delicious dressing. If you're not concerned about the fat content it's perfect as is. It's higher in fat that I normally like to eat so next time I think I'll try reducing the amount of light mayonnaise used and stretch it a bit using apple juice.
