Excellent salad. And SO SIMPLE to make!! I made it and took it to an office potluck and it disappeared in seconds with everyone screaming at me for the recipe! THANKS!

This was a big hit at our Easter potluck. I used Miracle Whip since I didn't have Mayo. It was pretty sweet, but everyone loved it. Next time I'll use Mayo!!

This is the best broccoli salad recipe on the site. I am not a detail oriented cook and I used less bacon than what it called for and no slivered almonds. More bacon would've been good, but I didn't miss the almonds. I used a bag of broccoli/carrot slaw as well as the florets and that gave it a nice texture. I used fat-free mayo as well. It was excellent. Thank you for this great recipe.

Really good. Made for a picnic. Used dried cranberries instead of raisins, and left out the almonds. Other than that just followed the recipe!

I just made this salad for our 4th of July celebration. I omitted the almonds and substituted craisins for the golden raisins. Very yummy. Thanks for posting!

Really good. I used 2 small bags of precooked bacon. Next time I will cut sugar a bit.

I made this for lunch and used two broccoli heads and one head of cauliflower. I didn't have any raisins or almonds, and it is still delicious. Thanks!

What great flavor! The first time I followed the recipe exactly. The second time, I reduced the sugar to about 1/3 cup and also added some seeded, halved grape tomatoes and 1/4c shredded cheddar cheese - it was excellent either way. Also tastes better if made the night before serving. Thanks for a keeper of a recipe!

What can I say, one of my favorite salad recipes ever. I make a big batch and we eat it for a week, it just gets better and better the longer it marinates in the dressing. I use different nuts when the mood strikes me, last time was pine nuts and the texture gave it nice change. I don't use low fat anything but I'm sure you wouldn't notice the low fat mayo in this recipe.

This salad is delicious! Every time I make it, my kids' and their friends devour it! My daughter even loves it, and she claims she doesn't like broccoli! I did add cauliflower, and we all like that variation. Thank you, Brandie!

Another 5 stars from me. I made this tonight for Thanksgiving dinner and it was the only dish that was cleaned up with no leftovers. The broccoli got raves from everyone (even the one that screams at the very mention of vinegar). I used Splenda and veggie Baco-Bits and lightly steamed the broccoli to soften it just a bit.

Just took this to a get-together and there wasn't a bit of the salad left, plus people were asking for the recipe. It was definately a hit!

KInd of a surprising salad for me. I didn't have sunflower seeds, and used less Splenda instead of the sugar. I will put raisins on my portion, but there is no way I could ever onvince my French husband to eat something that had both raisins and bacon in it. A very quick and easy to make salad--thanks!

Wonderful salad! I have made it often to bring to family events or potlucks. Everyone seems to love it! I substitute the brown raisins for the goldens.

Served this at a family party today and it was a huge hit!! Three people went home with the recipe! Many said that they have had good broccoli salad but that this was the best. Thanks for a great recipe Brandie!

This is FANTASTIC!!!! I doubled this recipe to bring to work today for a potluck meeting. I'm praying that there is some left for me to take back home!! I omitted the almonds, used light mayo, and substituted splenda for the sugar. The next time I make this I will try it w/turkey bacon and fat free mayo to see if the lower-fat version is just as good! Thanks for the recipe.

This was wonderful!! I omitted the almonds and added 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Also I cut the amounts of vinegar and sugar in half (just personal taste preference) and it was a HUGE hit

Very good and this is coming from someone who is not a fan of broccoli. I skipped the seeds and used regular mayo. Was a hit at Thanksgiving!

Excellent! I brought it to a barbecue and it was a big hit. If you follow the recipe exactly, it's pretty heavy on the dressing. I always like less dressing, so I used more broccoli and it was fantastic.
