Broccoli Puff

"This has been a traditional Thanksgiving side dish at our house. I looked forward to this casserole almost as much as the turkey, if not more. Even ones who don't like broccoli will take to this dish."

  1. Cyrene, thank you for posting your Broccoli Puff.I chose this recipe because it listed fresh broccoli, not frozen. Was happy to have leftovers for lunch the next day.The only thing I will do different next time is not cook the broccoli for so long, because it really was over cooked with the oven time.In fact, I am going to try not pre cooking the broccoli. This is a very good any time side dish.:0)

  2. Totally awesome! I don't like broccoli, but I loved this and will make it again.

  3. This was superb! I followed the recipe but used a little more cheese and breadcrumbs and infused the butter with lemon - delish!

  4. This was very good!!! I added some garlic, onion and cajun seasonings to it. I live in high altitude so i had to bake it for a bit longer. Thank you, Cyrene.

  5. My DH had this half eaten before dinner was ready. I did change a few things. I used Colby Jack cheese because thats all I had. I also used half and half because I had some that needed used. I added 1/4 cup fresh minced onions (because we like onions)and a dash of Morton's Natures Season's season blend. The consistancy was perfect and loaded with flavor. I might try this again for a brunch casserol by adding cooked diced ham or bacon. We will be having this dish often in our house. Thank you Cyrene! :)
