  1. Cook broccoli and onions separately; drain.
  2. Blend 2 tablespoons butter and flour in saucepan.
  3. Add salt and pepper.
  4. Stir in milk and cook until thickened.
  5. Reduce heat& add cream cheese.
  6. Cook until blended.
  7. Place broccoli and onions in 1 1/2 quart casserole.
  8. Pour sauce over& and sprinkle with cheese and buttered bread crumbs.
  9. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
