  1. This salad is great. When I make it I add seedless green grapes and sunflower seeds. They add great color and crunch.

  2. This is an excellent salad! I had broccoli and cauliflower and wanted something different than steamed vegetables so I decided to try this. The combination of cheese, bacon (I also used bacon bits), and the dressing, along with the vegetables) was right-on. I also used only half the recommended sugar as we don't care too much for sweet dressings. This was real easy to make, keeps well, and goes great with any barbecued meat. The simple dressing is so good my husband wants me to try it on macaroni salad next. I think this would also be good with maybe 4 or 5 chopped hard-boiled eggs. Thanks Missy for another great recipe!

  3. This is awesome. I added green peppers and green onions to mine. Yummy!

  4. Delicious! This is a wonderful, crunchy, good salad! My version used roasted pumpkin seeds (pepitas) instead of the bacon, and used a splash of balsamic instead of plain vinegar. It's an easy, tasty way to add fiber to the diet.

  5. This was so good! I had my doubts about this right after mixing it up, but after an overnight in the refrigerator it was perfect. Better than the broccoli/cauliflower salad I lost the recipe for! I made this for Easter dinner and everyone loved it. Thanks!

  2. This is absolutely fantastic!! I normally don't go for "sweet" salads but the combo was perfect. I didn't change a thing except that I used a bottle of Oscar Myer real bacon pieces instead of cooking my own. They worked just fine! Can't wait to make this for the first barbecue of the season. Thanks Missy!
