There are positives and negatives about this dish - with some tweaking, it'll return to our table. The tomato sauce seemed much too dry for dry noodles, so added more tomatoes - wasn't necessary, but a note from the chef to that effect might have helped me. Biggest problem was that the tomato sauce was bland. Added oregano, basil, parsley, and hot pepper flakes, and wished I'd added more. Really dull. On the positive side, adding the cheese to the white sauce helped spread a very little cheese throughout the casserole, to good effect (and lowered fat). Diane

great dish for a supper party most of the items are things you would probably have in the fridge or store cupboard, but there are some things could be improvised without spoiling the overall effect. I tried it the second time with sun dried tomatoes and it gave a more dense tomato flavour. A family favourite

very lovely. I left out the mustard and cheese and instead addded ricotta and frozen spinach to the white sauce. Went together like a dream and very filling.

Love Broccoli, cauliflower and zucchini. Add onions, peppers, garlic, topped with a white sauce and cheese you have a wonderful combination! Other then having to sub the smoked Dutch cheese I made as posted and we had a terrific supper! So different then the regular Lasagna and oh so good! A keeper, thank you Rufus T I this one will be seeing reruns. Can't wait to try your Minced Onion Pie.
