broccoli casserole

there are a lot of different versions of broccoli casserole, this one is our favorite.

• Prep Time: 15 mins
• Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients:

Servings: 4

• 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 1/2 cup crushed Ritz cracker
• 1 can cream of mushroom soup
• 1/4 cup mayonnaise
• salt and pepper

topping

• 1/2 cup crushed Ritz cracker
• 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Directions:

1. preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. cook broccoli until limp, about 10 minutes on the stovetop.
3. remove from heat;drain.
4. saute onion in butter and add to the broccoli.
5. add all remaining ingredients;mix well.
6. pour mixture into a casserole dish.
7. for topping, combine crackers and melted butter;sprinkle on top of casserole.
8. bake for 20-25 minutes.

This casserole was sooooo good!!!! Very easy to make in a hurry. I used Garlic Buttery Ritz crackers. I really enjoyed this recipe, I am definately making this again!!!!! Thanks Bratty for sharing the super recipe!!
