    Terri Newell's Note:

I've had this in my "to try" file for quite a while, so I'm not sure where it came from. We had it for Christmas dinner, and it was enjoyed by all. Very easy and quick to assemble.

Good stuff! I made this as written, but used fresh chopped onions to mix in the casserole and used the french fried onions on the top. It's moist and cheesey. The red pepper adds a nice bit of color; it would be a perfect festive side dish for a Christmas meal. Thanx for posting!

This was a simple, easy side dish and a new way to use broccoli. We all enjoyed it very much. Thanks for sharing.

Made this exactly as in the recipe. Delicious. Just make sure to use the broccoli raw and not to cook first as it will be too mushy...........had to make the second time to get it right. I guess it helps if you read the directions. Made this along with a nice green salad and Applesauce Chicken (#203203). Had everything in the oven at the same time and dinner was ready in a snap. Definitely a keeper.
