  1. In saucepot, bring 6 quarts water to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer; cook broccoli 5 minutes. Remove and rinse under cold water; drain.
  2. In skillet coated with cooking spray, saute next 3 ingredients 5 minutes over medium-high heat.
  3. Add bacon and flour; cook 2 minutes more, stirring constantly.
  4. Add sherry; cook 1 minute.
  5. Add fat-free half-and-half; cook 1 minute more.
  6. Fold in broccoli; and cook until heated through.
