Just what I was looking for a healthy cooking method and a little different for the usual. The vegetables were crisp tender and delicious. I used the white portion of green onions as I was out of shallots. Love the combination of flavors.

Wonderful veggie side!! Lovely combination of veggies and the almonds give it a perfect crunch. I had no shallots so I used lovely sweet walla walla onion. It was nice that the broccoli and carrots were a lovely tender crisp. i will be making these again, thanks for posting.

Just made this as a side for our dinner tonight. My wife and I loved it. I steamed the veggies instead of boiling them though.
