Brisket of Beef

This is a very simple, easy no brainer way to make a delicous fall apart beef brisket.
Directions:

Put brisket in roasting pan.

Dump onion soup mix on top.

Pour water over about 1/2 inch into pan.

Stir a little.

Cover tightly with foil.

Put into oven at 250 degrees-middle rack.

Forget about it for at least 5 hours.

Take it out, cut against the grain, it should fall apart and be very tender.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

I have never been able to make a perfect a roast until now. This was so easy to make and very good to eat. I changed the onion soup mix to onion-mushroom soup mix and it was very tasty. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the recipe, I now make all my roasts this way not just a brisket. They have all been nice and tender just like you said this would be. Best way to prepare a roast that I have found.
