I use this to prepare chicken breasts for the BBQ. The brine keeps the meat juicy and tender. This recipe brines approximately 4 chicken breasts.
- Dissolve the sugar and salt in the water.
- Brine the meat for approximately 30 minutes.
This worked wonderfully. I did add about a tbs of minced garlic to the brine and let the chicken brine for 24 hours. Just updated the rating, I used this again and it worked very well. I like that it's a basic brine that you can add different seasonings to.
