Brie and Red Currant Toast

"I make no apologies for the apparent simpleness of this. It make a quick easy brunch or light lunch. Serve with a dressed green salad. Cranberry jelly and mango chutney also work very well as variations."

  1. I can't believe I haven't rated this. I first made it about three years ago! It's amazingly delicious - never knew how much I like red currant jelly - especially with sourdough. It creates a nice contrast in flavors.

How I rate... 5 stars - perfect, will make again without any changes. 4 stars - Liked it, will make again again but with changes. 3 stars - had to make major changes but got it to work. 2 stars - had to make major changes and it didn't work. 1 star - went terribly, a waste of time and ingredients, I cried, BF cried the cats cried you get the picture...
