I created this! I toasted rye bread and had it as an "open face" sandwich but this could also work on crackers as an appetizer. Note: the brie tastes best when left out at room temperature.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 slice rye bread, toasted
  • 1 teaspoon honey mustard
  • 1 slice brie cheese
  • 1 slice prosciutto

Directions

  1. Assemble the sandwich by smearing the honey mustard on the toast.
  2. Place the brie on top of the honey mustard then the prosciutto on top of the cheese.
  3. If you like, you can put another toasted slice of rye bread on top to close the sandwich but I prefer to eat mine open faced.
  4. Enjoy!
