  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • In a large bowl, beat together the first 6 ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  • Add flour, oats and baking soda, beating until combined.
  • Stir in raisins and cereal (it will be stiff).
  • Roll about 1/3 cup at a time and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Pat the balls firmly, then press down to flatten slightly.
  • Bake 13-15 minutes or until lightly browned on the bottom. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.

  1. I had some problems with this recipe, but they were still really good. I followed the recipe except used chocolate chips instead of raisins and found the mixture to be so dry that I couldn't get it to stick together. I baked one pan with it as written (which was very hard to keep together) and they were very crumbly though tasty. After that I added just a bit of milk and the cookies stayed together better but the cheerios were no longer crunchy which dissapointed me. Also, cooking them at the time specified, in my oven, made them burn. So I had to bake them for a shorter period of time. We thought the cookies were great, though I'd change things up just a tad next time. That said, it was a good way to use up some of the extra cheerios in the house!
