I learned this from an old sheepherder in southern Utah.
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook sausage in oven proof pan (I use cast iron).
- Remove cooked sausage and drain well; add eggs, sausage, and cheese.
- Bake in oven until eggs are set.
If it had any spices or vegetables added I think it would be better. But who doesn't like fat?!
Utterly amazing, definately looking forward to making again. This will be so useful for when baby no. 2 comes along (if and when that happens!)
Really simple and tasty. I have been looking for more prepare ahead meals for breakfast and this one was a hit....was able to pop it in the oven while I was getting ready for work. Thanks!
