Very good. Made these for Easter and took Heather's advice and used her Cinnamon Bun Icing for the icing crosses. Did use all-purpose flour but added 1 T gluten. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
This is probably one of the most delicious recipes I've ever made. Everytime I make them, I always have to make two or three batches, as they get nommed up so fast.
This is such a yummy recipe! Even the fussiest of the children love it!
These have exactly the flavor and texture I expect in a hot cross bun. I shaped the dough in advance, refrigerated it overnight, and baked them the next morning. I didn't brush them with the egg wash until just before baking. Mine did take a bit longer to bake, but that could just be my oven.
