Bread Machine Garlic Bread

This bread is so delicious and will really make your house smell wonderful as it is baking. I've fooled around with this recipe and have done various things (used olive oil instead of butter, added basil and oregeno) etc, so it is very versitle. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

• Total Time: 3 hrs 15 mins
• Prep Time: 15 mins
• Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients:

Servings: 12

• 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1 tablespoon powdered milk
• 1 tablespoon white sugar
• 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
• 1 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley
• 3 teaspoons minced garlic or 2 teaspoons garlic powder
• 3 cups bread flour
• 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Directions:

1. Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
2. Select Basic Bread cycle; press Start.

Loved this bread! I tried it last night and I even braided it! my family loved it! I loved it and I will NEVER cook another bread in my bread machine! I make dough in it, but I take it out, shape it and let it rise the second time in the pan I cook it in..I get SO much more bread and it's the perfect consistency! Thank You!

This turned out lovely. I think I will add more garlic next time as we are huge garlic lovers! This smelled up the house wonderfully while baking and it couldn't be better on this snowed in day!

This turned out very nicely. I used a tablespoon of minced garlic and my garlic loving husband says, "Where's the garlic". So next time and there will be :) a next time, I will use the minced garlic and the garlic powder and will see what he says then :) Thanks KC_Cooker for posting this recipe that I will fix over and over. I just love my bread machine :)
