A very good donut recipe. I think it takes longer than 30 minutes to rise tho. Mine sat for 40 minutes without much rising. After about an hour, they had risen more. These donuts are fairly good even a day or two later. Not very sweet tho. Use plenty of glaze.
Turned out pretty well, but not as much as I had hoped. I suspect this is due to error on my part, however, and will try again.
I have been wanting to make home made doughnuts for some time and I came across this recipe and thought I would give it a try since I make pizza dough with My Bread Machine. The only thing I changed was I used bread flour rather then all purpose I got great lift with it made wonderful doughnuts. Thanks for the recipe.
I was so happy and proud of myself after making this recipe. The doughnuts were like they were from a bakery. I filled them with raspberry jam using a pastry bag. I also substituted the milk for soy milk, and they turned out great. Will definitely make again!
Excellent! Thank you Lvs2Cook! I will never buy donuts again! lol This was so easy to make, using the bread machine rocks! I will be making these from now on. I enjoyed these with plain glaze and chocolate glaze (I prefered the plain glazed myself) and I want to try the jelly filling next time. Anyone ever try that?
These were delicious. I made these this just this morning. They are very easy and very light! I will definitely be making these again!
These were so easy and very light and delicious. My son informed me that we now never have to go buy doughnuts because these were the best ever!
This is first time I made doughnuts and i LOVED that I could make the dough in my breadmaker. Great recipe and super easy. I would highly recommend this one
