These little gems were delicious! I used dried apricots and light butter. I think these would also be great with just cinnamon/sugar sandwiched in between. Thanks for posting this yummy treat!

How quick & easy to prepare this wonderful tasting sandwich! I used a mix of chopped dried fruits ~ pears, dates, apricots & tart Fuji apples ~ & they made for great sandwiches! Very nice, as is, but I'd also like to try this with a multigrain bread, or one bread disc white & the other multigrain! Thanks for posting such a great recipe! These little french toasts were incredible. So much flavor and the texture was fantastic. They were so delicious. Quick and really easy to make...I have enjoyed them three times already...I keep using the same fruit as they were perfect together. I used a combination of dried cantaloupe and dried blueberries for a treat that is out of this world. Sprinkled with a little icing sugar and cinnamon for a perfect topping. Thank you so much for sharing this lovely recipe my friend. Made for Aussie Swap 3/2014.
