The Baptist college I attended my freshman year had a special program where students from Brazil could come and study through a missions program. This is a recipe from Carolina, one of my best girlfriends. I love it because it's different from other limeade.
I made one batch, tried it & then doubled it & took it to a get together! The second batch had a sour lime in it! What huge difference between the batches!! TIP: Just take a quick taste of your limes before blending in! Also, it helped to use a pitcher with a bit of a strainer by the pour (not so fine you eliminate the zest but something to temper the blended pulp). Still everybody enjoyed this. I will definitely make this super simple refreshing summer drink again. The sweetened condensed milk was key - I would like to try this method with lemons as well. Thanks for sharing! Loved it. Reminds me of a similar drink my grandmother used to make, but with an avacado. I didn't use as much sugar since the condensed milk is sweet already.
