Even people who say they don't like braunschweiger ask for this recipe!
- 8 ounces braunschweiger liver sausage
- 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1⁄3 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons dill pickle relish
- 2 tablespoons onions, minced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 loaf pumpernickel cocktail bread
- Combine first 7 ingredients; mix well.
- Pat mixture in a bowl lined with plastic wrap. Cover and chill.
- Unmold and put round part up on a serving platter and sprinkle with parsley.
- Serve with pumpernickel bread party slices.
