A yummy casserole, easy to make, I baked a big potato in the microwave to use, Also added mushrooms and a can of french fried onions. Served it with a green salad for a complete meal. DH said this recipe is a keeper.

We enjoyed this casserole. I did omit the green beans but followed the rest of the recipe. To me, it was a bit too saucy. I think next time I make it, I will cut back on the milk some. I definitely enjoyed the leftovers today too!

What a lovely casserole! I inadvertently used a 14.5 oz. can of green beans when the recipe called for 8 oz. I certainly wouldn't use any less or leave them out altogether as one reviewer suggested, since the taste of the beans married with the other flavors was absolutely delightful. I used turkey brats, and they were delicious. Other than the mistake with the amount of green beans, I didn't vary from the recipe at all. Didn't add the french fried onions or extra cheese on top, and it didn't need either of those additions. Very good meal, and one that I'll be making again and again.

This is a great recipe. I topped with French's fried onions at the end as other reviewers suggested, very yummy!! For some reason my bratwursts took forever to cook up making this recipe more time consuming than I was planning on but, next time I have leftover bratwursts from the grill this would be a great way to use them up!!

This was a great recipe. I used cheddar bratwurst. I added garlic powder, salt and pepper and then mixed it together before baking. Next time I will try adding the fried onions. Before serving, I put a little bit of spicy brown mustard on the top and WOW! It was awesome! This is a keeper and I will make this again. Thank you!

Definately a winner. The whole family enjoyed it which is difficult for us. I've saved it and will make it again.

Oooooh this was SO yummy!!!! The cheese baked into the soup sauce was a GREAT idea! :) I had gotten some brats reduced REALLY cheap for quick sale and this was the recipe I decided to try out for one of the packages and BOY am I glad that I did!!! My whole family enjoyed it! I put a little extra shredded cheese on top before serving and my 2 and 4 year olds and husband enjoyed it a lot! I'm excited to eat the leftovers tomorrow!!

Awesome dish, very easy to prepare, tasty and filling!
We used progresso cream of mushroom so we did not need the extra milk, and we will cut down the potatoes in half next time!
Overall awesome, a must try!

Very good! I used Southern Style frozen hashbrowns because I was too lazy to cut up the potatoes :) I also threw some dried french onions on top to add a little crunch. Thanks!

It does not get any easier, and it was a hit at the dinner table. I only used 2 potatoes and used them raw, so I had to lengthen the cooking time to an hour.

This was good and easy to make. The only complaint was that it was to runny. It still had a good taste but could have been thicker. Thanks for an interesting way to serve brats.

I've made this same recipe for years.. My hubby loves it. I boil the brats, slice then fry in a dutch oven that I use to bake it in. I also partially cook the taters and also added the durk fried onions. Super dooper great!! TY Laurie for sharing with everyone!!
