An excellent sauce for a multitude of bakery items. Very easy and fsst to make. I did not have any brandy so I used amaretto liquor. Probably would be good with other liquors or even bourbon.

  1. Mix dry ingredients and then stir them into a cup of boiling water.
  2. Boil for 5 minutes and then add butter, brandy, and vanilla.
  3. Serve hot over mince pie or gingerbread.
