  • Cream together 1st two ingredients.
  • Cream together sugar, shortening, and eggs.
  • Add and blend in buttermilk to sugar mixture.
  • Add bran cereal mixture.
  • Add dry ingredients.
  • Fill muffin cups 2/3 full and bake at 400 for 20 minutes. Refrigerate remaining batter in covered container. Will keep 8-10 weeks.
