  1. Boil potatoes, then peel and mash.
  2. Add farina, flour, salt and egg.
  3. Work dough well.
  4. Divide into 5 dumplings.
  5. Place into boiling water, cook for 20 minutes.

these were my sister-in-laws speciality and now that she is now longer with us I am so pleased to find a recipe that replicates hers. These were her favorite with roast duck but since I am now a vegetarian I make them with cabbage paprika.

Absolutely gorgeous with zeli (saurkraut) but equally nice as a snack with some onions fried in butter just poured over them
