This is such a fun recipe! I turn the mold onto a lettuce-lined plate and put gummy worms around and coming out the brain. I wonder why no one ever wants to eat it? :o) You can also make it a "bleeding" brain by putting in raspberry preserves in the center of the brain (fill halfway, chill, add preserves, chill and add remaining jello). Ewwww!!

Recipe worked beautifully! Did not have blue food coloring on hand so I used 15 drops red, 15 drops green and 5 drops black. Everyone was impressed but grossed out! :) Mission accomplished.

This recipe worked like a charm. The brain Jell-O came easily out of the mold. We used cherry Jell-O and didn't add the additional food coloring because we wanted that bright red look. For an extra touch, we added some gummy worms to the mold when it was partially set, and then surrounded the Jell-O brain with the extra gummy worms for that extra zing! Easily the coolest dish at the Halloween potluck.
