Delicious summer drink. I've seen a couple recipes on this site, but I think mine probably isn't as sweet. It's been described as "a long island iced tea with bourbon." We keep some in the freezer all summer long!
Whenever we were having a BBQ we would make a batch of this. It was always a hit and was great because the strength of the drink could be adjusted to taste by just adding more or less of the slush to the 7-Up. (3)

Just like Uncle Wil's Famous Bourbon Slush. Turns out he got it from Fred Clyde Walters, Franklinton, LA who called it Baptist Tea. Cousin Jan's husband also claimed this as his own.

This is exactly the recipe my family has been using for almost thirty years. We have it on Christmas Eve and most larger summer gatherings. Really good!
